New! The Occidental College Library has begun a trial to Oxford Biblical Studies Online!
Users can view texts from selected Oxford Bibles in side-by-side display with commentary and annotations from the Study Bibles, the Oxford Bible Commentary, and concordances for the NRSV and NAB translations with this resource. Bible content is supplemented by collections of major apocryphal Old and New Testament texts. Also included: Searchable images, maps, the Encyclopedia of the Dead Sea Scrolls, Oxford Companion to the Bible, and other Oxford references (e.g., Handbook of Biblical Studies, History of the Biblical World, Illustrated History of the Bible, Bible Atlas, and more).
This tool would be especially helpful for Religious Studies majors.
